The Rescue

The New Life The Meeting Aringarosa found Silas half-dead in Oviedo. He nursed him back to health and gave him a new identity. He named him Silas after the biblical prisoner who was freed by an earthquake. The Father Figure Aringarosa became a father figure to Silas, teaching him about faith and forgiveness. Silas was devoted to him, seeing him as a savior.

The Mission

Following Orders The Teacher's Plan Aringarosa tells Silas to obey the Teacher. Silas does so, believing he is serving God and the bishop. He kills the Priory leaders, thinking it is necessary. The Strain Silas is troubled by the murders, but he trusts Aringarosa's judgment. The bishop's desperation puts a strain on their relationship, as Silas is used as a pawn.

The Tragic End

The Fall The Shooting In the police shootout, Silas accidentally shoots Aringarosa. He carries him to the hospital, devastated. The bond is broken by tragedy.
